My Story

Maria

I’ve always been interested by how law of supply and demands work, although one thing did strike the most. “How is it that there are loads of supply for photographers but the demand is low”.

After studying two degrees in both the Philippines and in the UK, I still have not understood or answered this question. During my first bachelor degree, there are tons of photographers that are charging a ridiculous amount of money per photo. I then finished my second degree in another country and the same scenario happened, more photographers but are still charging a lot more than the average amount.

Surely there are people out there charging low even for small photoshoots.

“NO!”

After getting engaged, my now husband and I started looking for a photographer only for an hour with a small amount of people, the intimate wedding if you’d label it that way.

It was a hopeless case. You either need to pay hundreds of pounds just for 5 photos, with the wrong colour editing you wanted and with only a few options to choose from. I ended up taking the matters to my own hands and photographed our own wedding with 2 other witnesses.

Which is why I am here for all you folks being charged a ridiculous amount of money when in fact, you have a choice, you have flexibility, without having to compromised with the photo selection and budget.

After all, who better understands it, than the people who has been through it.
